Milwaukee M18 Inflator 2848-20

I keep one of these in the truck because I got tired of guessing at tire pressure and then paying for it in time later. The inflator itself is the kind of tool that makes sense for somebody who wants to handle their own basics without dragging out a bigger air compressor or hunting for a gas station pump when a tire looks low. It is also a good fit for anyone who already lives around batteries from the same line and wants one less cord in the way.
What I like most is how straightforward it feels to use. You set the target pressure, connect it, and let it work. That sounds simple, but a lot of portable inflators make the simple part annoying. This one feels built for people who actually want to use it in a driveway, on the side of the road, or in a dim garage after work. I like that I can grab it, check a tire, and move on without a whole setup routine. It saves me from putting off small jobs, and that matters more than people think.
It is the kind of tool I would recommend to a homeowner who checks tire pressure now and then, somebody who keeps an air mattress or sports gear around, or anyone who wants a dependable inflator ready when they need it. If you are the sort of person who only touches an air pump once in a blue moon, you could probably get by with something cheaper. But if you want something you do not have to fight with, this is a better place to land.
The one downside for me is that it is not tiny. It is still portable, but it has enough size to feel like a real tool instead of a pocket gadget, so it takes up room in storage. That is the tradeoff for having something that feels sturdy and easy to handle. I would also say the hose and cable setup takes a minute to get used to the first few times, especially if you are trying to work fast. Nothing bad, just a little more fiddly than I wanted at first.
I have used enough cheap inflators to know the difference between something that sounds good in the listing and something you actually keep reaching for. This one lands in the second group. It does the job without turning a quick task into a project, and that is what I want from a tool like this. If you keep putting off small air jobs because the equipment is annoying, this is the kind of inflator that makes those jobs easier to finish.
